A fire broke out at the Matangini Colony slum within Anandapur police station limits on Wednesday night, triggering a large-scale firefighting response.
According to the Delhi Fire Service, a call regarding the blaze was received at 2:39 AM from the residential quarters of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
Multiple fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot late Wednesday night, and the blaze was brought under control after sustained firefighting efforts.
