A massive fire broke out at a fast food joint at Shakkar Bazaar in Indore on Friday night, an official said, adding that the blaze was brought under control in a few hours following prompt action by the fire brigade.
"A furniture godown caught fire. It looks like there could be a loss of Rs 50-60 lakhs. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Fire tenders are at the spot. Efforts to douse the fire are underway," Daljeet Singh, a police officer said.
At least 12 people were injured in a fire that broke out following a domestic gas pipeline leakage at a bakery shop in Telangana's Rangareddy on Thursday.
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), "A level 2 fire erupted at around 3.02 pm on Wednesday in New Hall, LTT Terminus Platform No. 1, Tilak Nagar."
One person sustained severe burn injury in a fire that broke out on Wednesday early morning in a parking lot opposite the Trans Residency building in Andheri East.
Several wholesale and retail vegetable shops were gutted in the fire. Four fire tenders have rushed to the spot and efforts are on to douse the fire, fire officials said.
"The fire broke out in the Kashmere Gate area. Among the auto spare parts materials, the plastic and rubber items caught fire," Delhi Fire Service Assistant Divisional Officer (ADO) Sumit Kumar said, speaking to ANI in the early hours of Tuesday.
