With the screening of filmmaker Shyam Benegal's film 'Manthan' at the ongoing 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival on Friday evening, every fan of Indiana cinema beamed with pride.
Veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Prateik Babbar, Dr Verghese Kurien's daughter Nirmala Kurien, and Amul MD Jayen Mehta graced the red carpet during the screening of 'Manthan' at Cannes Film Festival 2024.
Adding another layer to the event Dr Jayen Mehta and Nirmala Kurien shed light on Amul's significant role. They revealed not only Amul's support in bringing "Manthan" back to the big screen, but also the cooperative's unique involvement in the film's production.
