Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin extended his warm wishes to people celebrating the Ugadi festival on Sunday. In his message, Stalin called for unity among the southern states.
"Heartiest greetings to all countrymen on Chaitra Shukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand, Navreh and Sajibu Cheiraoba," the President Droupadi Murmu said in a post on X.
Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday extended his greetings to everyone on the occasion of Ugadi, Gudi Padava, Cheti Chand, Chaitra Sukladi, Navreh, Chaitra Navratri, and Sajibu Cheiraoba.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended greetings on the occasion of the Navratri festival. He also extended wishes on the occasion of Hindu Nav Varsha (Nav Samvatsar).
Chaitra Navratri started on Saturday, and the festive spirit is high in Haridwar. Devotees have gathered in large numbers to visit the Maa Mansa Devi temple and seek blessings.

The Hindu outfit had placed saffron flags across the city in view of the upcoming Navratri festival, including one at the clock tower on Friday night. However, acting on the CMO's instructions, civic body employees restricted them during the night and later removed the flags. Angered by this
