Taking to social media X, the PM reshared a thread of the Government of India posts reflecting on how the country was home to the largest scheme and bumper crops.
Tejashwi Yadav took aim at PM Modi's Bihar visit, highlighting the government's inability to address the state's issues. He points to the worsening conditions for farmers, unemployment, and poverty, accusing the PM of misleading the people of Bihar.
He was also apprised of the difficulties faced by farmers in the cultivation of fox nut crops since the cultivators are expected to stay in the pond all day.
He also mentioned that he would discuss the establishment of the Makhana Board, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in the recent Union Budget.
Speaking to ANI, the Punjab Minister said, "The meeting was centred around the legal guarantee of MSP. All the farmer leaders put forth their views on the same. It was a good discussion, and I hope that discussion will continue to be positive."
Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the talks between the government and the farmers will continue to be held with a positive approach and cordial manner.
He said the next meeting with farmers will be held on March 19, at the same venue, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administrat
