Amid a row over the BJP-led Maharashtra government's decision to make Hindi a mandatory third language, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said it was incorrect to say that Hindi is being imposed, as Marathi will remain mandatory in Maharashtra.
Speaking to reporters, Fadnavis said, "If the two come together, we will be happy about it. If people settle their differences, it is a good thing. What else can I say about it?"
