A devastating fire erupted at the Khalsa Cooler Factory near Sant Kanwar Ram School in Ajmer's Ramganj area. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit, and prompt action was taken to contain it.
Eight people were injured after an explosion took place at a factory in Umred taluka of Nagpur district on Friday, according to the Nagpur Rural Police.
A total of 18 workers, which include 10 from Dewas and eight from Harda district, died in the incident and their bodies were brought here with the help of ambulances. Teams from both the district administrations were present at the spot and made arrangements for the cremation of the workers.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday announced Rs 2 Lakh ex-gratia to to the families of the workers killed in the firecracker factory fire in Gujarat's Banaskantha district. He also announced Rs 50,000 to the injured.
"The news of the death of several workers and injuries to many in the explosion at a firecracker factory in Banaskantha, Gujarat is extremely sad. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families," Gandhi said in a post on X.
A huge fire broke out in a factory in Noida's Surajpur. The fire tenders reached the accident spot and are currently trying to take control of the fire.
