Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday expressed sadness over the loss of life and injuries caused by an explosion at a chemical factory in Anakapalle district.
"We brought fire tenders from nearby fire stations and blasts were still happening then. Around 24 fire tenders were deployed in the operation. This factory manufactures fireball which is like a fire extinguisher. Nearby buildings suffered damage. We are being told that 2 deaths occurred
Five people were killed and five others were injured at an explosives manufacturing factory in Dhamna in Maharashtra's Nagpur, officials said on Thursday.
In a tragic incident, two individuals lost their lives and four others were injured in a boiler explosion at the slug-tyre factory in Meerut's Phitkari village on Tuesday morning.
Earlier in the day, Virudhunagar District Collector Jeyaseelan shared details and said that the accident took place around 12 pm on Saturday afternoon. Nine people were reported dead and three were said to be in a critical condition."
According to Virudhunagar District Collector Jeyaseelan, "The accident took place around 12 pm today. Nine people have died and three are in critical condition. The injured have been admitted to Sivakasi Hospital."
According to fire department officials, "8 people have been killed in the explosion at a firecracker factory in the Virudhnagar district. 10 people have been injured in the incident. The reason for the explosion is yet to be ascertained."
The explosion took place at village Moo 3 in Tambon Salakhao of Muang district in Thailand at around 3:30 pm (local time). So far, 20 deceased people have been identified.
The illegal firecrackers manufacturing unit was situated in a residential area near Purana Pool locality in the city and the explosion occurred on Tuesday in which three persons were killed and 10 others sustained injuries.

"On our petition, the Court said it's a premature stage after investigation there's the liberty to come. Till then, all the evidence will be tampered with," Suvendu Adhikari said.
Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari on Sunday wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and requested him to initiate an investigation by the National Investigation Agency into the Duttapukur firecracker factory explosion incident.
