External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar delivered remarks during the 19th Nani A Palkhivala Memorial Lecture on Saturday. He spoke about the wide expanse of areas covered in the ambit of Indian foreign policy and underlined India's approach to diplomacy in the last decade.
Together, with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti dedicated the site of the US consulate, which is intended to become the fifth US consulate in India.
"The Quad Foreign Ministers Meeting is expected to be in Washington, DC for the inaugural ceremony of President Trump...We will share the further details," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in the weekly press briefing today.
" We want India-Bangladesh relations to do well for the people of Bangladesh and the people of India. So that is what our approach is, a positive approach, and that remains," Jaiswal said.
