External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday praised US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken for his strong and clear message on counter-terrorism.
Terming terrorism as a global problem and a global threat, UK Foreign Secretary started off his address by thanking External Affairs Minister Jaishankar for using India's Security Council presidency to focus on this crucial issue.
This remark comes a few days after the Chinese envoy to India, Sun Weidong said that both India-China should break out of the "geopolitics trap" and find a new path that is different from the past.

Sun, who assumed office in July 2019, is leaving at a time when the two sides are trying to manage ties, following the 2020 border clash that has remained the dominant issue between the neighbours.
