India is providing materials, supplies, medical supplies, and equipment, to Syria as well as sending search and rescue teams to Turkey under 'Operation Dost', said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday.
Highlighting how the border Infrastructure holds the key to any nation's preparedness, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar once again underscored how security at the borders including at the India-China border is closely linked with the infrastructure developed in the area.
Prasad is on a five-day visit to India and is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister A Jaishankar and Minister of State for External Affairs Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh today in New Delhi.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Bhutan National Assembly speaker Wangchuk Namgyel in Delhi on Tuesday and discussed stronger economic cooperation between the nations as well as priorities of youth.
Turkish Embassy in New Delhi tweeted: "First batch of earthquake relief material along with NDRF's special search & rescue teams and trained dog squads just arrived in Turkiye. Thank you India for your support and solidarity."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condoled the loss of life in the massive earthquake that rattled Turkey and nearby areas and claimed more than 100 lives.
It was agreed that the three countries will seek to ensure greater alignment of their respective economic, technological, and social policies with the objectives of the Paris Agreement
"Pleased to meet Lt. Gen Hun Manet of Cambodia today afternoon. Exchanged views on geopolitical situation & regional challenges. Agreed on the need for independent-minded nations to cooperate closely," Jaishankar tweeted on Friday.
