Expressing grief over the tragic triple train accident in Odisha's Balasore that has claimed 275 lives so far, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a phone call to External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, expressing his support.
While not naming Rahul, Jaishankar said, "I may differ strongly with someone but how I counter it ... I would like to go back at home and do it. And watch me when I get back."

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar on Thursday said that the BRICS nations should approach key contemporary issues seriously, constructively and collectively.
Ahead of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' meeting in Cape Town today, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met his South African counterpart Naledi Pandor and reviewed the progress of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Jaishankar will call on the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa and is expected to hold bilateral meetings with other BRICS Foreign Ministers, as well as, 'Friends of BRICS' Ministers. He will also have an interaction with the Indian diaspora in Capetown.
