The Youth Congress on Tuesday escalated its nationwide campaign against alleged "vote theft," accusing the BJP and the Election Commission of India (ECI) of manipulating electoral processes in Haryana and Bihar.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad praised the people of Bihar for transcending caste and community divides in the electoral process, highlighting it as a vote of hope and trust.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Tuesday launched a sharp counterattack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, dismissing his fresh allegations of "vote chori" (vote theft) and accusing him of misunderstanding the electoral process.

"He himself confirmed the 'chaal, charitra, chehra' of his government. Nobody is safe here and there is no rule of law. Till now, it was the public tolerating it. Now the leaders are also facing it during elections," Kishor told reporters here.
Speaking to ANI, Kishor said, "The highest polling in the last 30 years indicates that change is coming to Bihar. A new system is going to be established on the 14th (November)."
In response to the RJD's post on X, the CEO's office clarified that voting across the state was proceeding "smoothly" and that the Election Commission of India was "ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process".
"All of us should celebrate the festival of democracy with great enthusiasm. Today, voting for the first phase of Bihar Election is taking place. We urge all voters to vote and celebrate this 'Loktantra Ka Mahaparv'," the Union Minister told press persons after casting his vote.
