All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi announced that the party will fight the elections on all the seven seats on which it has MLAs and in addition to fight on two more seats in Telangana.

Party sources further informed that Cabinet Minister Shanti Dhariwal and Mahesh Joshi who are close aides of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot are most likely to be "dropped" from the list of Candidates this time.
BJP State President and Union Minister G Krishan Reddy said that they will cancel Muslim reservations and extend the benefit to members of the Backward Classes communities if voted to power in Telangana.

The first phase of polling for 20 seats in Chhattisgarh will be held on November 7. After the first phase of polling on November 7, the remaining 70 seats in the state will go to polls on November 17.
