Anurag Thakur on Friday hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi, accusing them of standing "shoulder to shoulder" with the alleged "tukde tukde" gang.
Delhi Police has registered a total of 397 cases for violation of the Model Code of Conduct. These cases have been registered between the period of January 7 to January 19.
Ahead of the February 5 Delhi assembly elections, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi wrote to all national and state political parties, directing them and their candidates to not publish any advertisement in the print media on the poll day and one day before poll day in Delhi region.
BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party, which once claimed it would not allow criminals in the assembly to ensure the passage of strict laws, had fielded the highest number of candidates with criminal records.
