Stepping up his attack on the Congress and setting the stage for a showdown in Karnataka, PM Modi in an election rally at Nanjangud in Mysuru district on Sunday accused the Congress' "Shahi Parivar" of openly inciting foreign powers to interfere.
According to the police, the Congress chief was on his way to Karnataka's Mulabagilu for an election rally. His camera person received minor injuries during the incident.
Informing about the PM's event, MP Sumalatha said, "The arrival of PM Narendra Modi has given more enthusiasm to the BJP which is targeting to win from the old Mysore area."
Addressing an election rally in the poll-bound state, Nadda said, "80 communal riots occurred during the Congress government. Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has imposed a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI)."

Rahul Gandhi has been convicted by the court for 2019 comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surname during an election rally. He will not go to jail immediately as the same court has given him bail for 30 days so that he can file an appeal against his conviction in the upper court.
