Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his Deputy Devendra Fadnavis at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the national capital on Tuesday.
Shinde, who returned from the World Economic Forum meet in Davos recently, recalled his encounter with the European leader and said that Luxembourg PM Xavier Bettel clicked a picture with him and asked the Maharashtra CM to show it to PM Modi.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Raut said he will join the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' on January 20 and 21 during his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Monday wrote a letter to BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal pertaining to alleged irregularities for road mega-tenders in Mumbai and asked who proposed the concretization of nearly 400 km of roads in the city.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MLA Sanjay Raut has taken a dig at the Maha CM saying that the visit to Davos can only be fruitful if he is able to bring an investment of Rs. 5 lakh crores.
His remark has come in the backdrop of Aaditya Thackeray's statement claiming that the coalition government of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis will fall in the next two months.
"This 400 km tender seems to be a farce. Till now, the process has been that anyone who wants to do the bidding, would bid 20 per cent less than the estimated price to win the tender," Thackeray added.
