This comes after NCP's senior leader Ajit Pawar on Sunday joined Eknath Shinde-led government in Maharashtra and took oath as the state's deputy chief minister.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday extended his support to NCP chief Sharad Pawar after the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) experienced an internal division as senior leader Ajit Pawar joined the BJP-led Eknath Shinde Maharashtra government along with a group of MLAs.

The mouthpiece of Shiv Sena (UBT) 'Saamana' on Sunday claimed that the Eknath Shinde along with 16 MLAs who were part of the split in Shiv Sena almost a year ago are going to be "disqualified" as per the Constitution.
