The Philippine National Security Adviser Eduardo Ano in a statement clarified that the Philippines will stand its ground over its dispute with China, in the South China Sea, Al Jazeera reported.
Following the Philippines' call for the expulsion of Beijing's diplomats, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned Manila government and said that "any hasty action" could "potentially harm" the Philippines amid territorial tensions in the South-China Sea, reported by The Manila Times.
The Philippines' national security adviser on Friday called for the expulsion of Chinese diplomats over an alleged leaked telephonic conversation with a Filipino military official as territorial tensions continue to surge, reported Nikkei Asia.
The move comes a day after Philippines' National Security Adviser Eduardo Ano said the confrontation that wounded three Filipino soldiers caused severe damage to the Unaizah May 4 vessel.
