The Central government on Thursday extended the tenure of Enforcement Directorate (ED) chief Sanjay Kumar Mishra by a year till November 18, 2023, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
Soren was summoned months after the Election Commission, in August, sent a report to Governor Ramesh Bais, recommending the CM's disqualification as a member of the state legislative assembly for allegedly holding a mining lease.
They were arrested last week under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act following long questioning with them at the Enforcement Directorate headquarters.
