Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala on Friday paid his last respects to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and said that he stood for distributive justice and inclusivity and the loss is irreparable.
Calling former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh an "architect of economic reforms," Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday said that he was able to navigate the economy when it was facing many challenges.
He said that then Prime Minister Narsimha Rao had invited Manmohan Singh to be part of his cabinet as the Finance Minister when the economy was in shambles.
