Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer has called on the people of the state to participate in Earth Hour on March 22 by switching off non-essential lights.
BSES has urged its 50 lakh-plus consumers and 2 crore residents in South, West, East and Central Delhi to 'switch off' non-essential lights and appliances during Earth Hour on March 22, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
The Chief Minister expressed his hope that the untiring dedication of Williams and her fellow astronauts would continue to inspire lakhs of people in the years to come.
"I would like to give her my best wishes. We wish her good health. We are looking forward to meeting her once she comes to India. We welcome her," Rekha Sharma told ANI.
