Hailing the ties shared between India and the United States, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to the US opened a new chapter in the India-US relationship.
Amid a rift in ties between New Delhi and Ottawa, the Foreign Minister of Canada, Melanie Joly, has said that she is in close contact with her Indian counterpart S Jaishankar, adding that it is a difficult moment in relationship between the two nations that spanned decades.
EAM Jaishankar also highlighted the pivotal recognition of this effort by the G20, foreseeing a substantial boost in collaborative efforts for a digitalised future.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will co-chair the India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin and US State Secretary Antony Blinken on November 10.

Notably, Bhutan King began his 8-day India-visit from Assam on Friday. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma received the Bhutan Royal at the Guwahati airport.
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar held a meeting with Australia's Opposition Leader and former Defence Minister, Peter Dutton on Saturday and held discussions on a range of topics including the bilateral ties and global affairs.
