External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hosted the India-Nordic-Baltic meeting on the sidelines of the ongoing Raisina Dialogue 2024, here on Thursday. He said that the exchange with his counterparts was extremely useful.
On the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Albania and Panama.
At the Raisina Dialogue discussion today, Jaishankar also took a veiled jab at China, one of the five permanent members of the 15-member UN Security Council for being the "biggest" opponent of its reforms.
Taking to X, EAM Jaishankar shared about the meeting saying, "Glad to meet FM @AyorkorBotchwey of Ghana on #RaisinaDialogue2024 sidelines. Assessed the progress of our bilateral cooperation especially development partnership. Also spoke about the need to reform the Commonwealth."
"EAM's visits to the Republic of Korea and Japan, two of our major partners, will impart further momentum to bilateral exchanges and set the agenda for future cooperation," the MEA said in a statement.
Taking to X, EAM Jaishankar shared about the meeting saying, "Warmly welcomed FM Peter Szijjarto of Hungary in New Delhi. As we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations this year, noted the significant advances in political, bilateral trade and investment and education sectors. Also spoke

"My point is: just as I do not expect Europe to have a view of China that is identical to mine, Europe should understand that I cannot have a view of Russia that is identical to the European one. Let us accept that there are natural differences in relationships," he said.
In an interview with a leading German economic daily, Handelsblatt during his visit to the Munich Security Conference in Germany, EAM highlighted the infrastructural imbalance of supply chains in the world and said that the world's economic model is unstable and unfair.
