The Union Cabinet, has approved a scheme for the procurement and operation of e-buses by Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) with an outlay of Rs 3,435.33 crore.
This e-bus service aims to resolve problems related to long walks, expensive autorickshaws, and the unavailability of transport options for patients and their attendants, making travel within the campus easier and more convenient.
