The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) staged protests against Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, including burning her effigy, following the horrific incident of a minor girl being set on fire in Nimapara, Puri district, on Saturday.
"The common people of Chhattisgarh knew that there was a liquor scam ongoing in the state. After learning about scams, IT and ED investigated the matter. The ED investigation is still going on. Action is being taken against all those people against whom evidence is coming out before the ED.
He also targeted statements made by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister's Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, who claimed they would take drastic measures against criminals, questioning the logic behind searching for them in "paatal" (the underworld) when they are openly roaming the streets.
