Taking serious note of the Air India urination incident, the Ministry of Civil Aviation directed the airline to do an internal probe into the matter and submit the report as soon as possible, said top government sources on Thursday.
The maternal uncle of Delhi girl Anjali, who died in the horrific hit-and-drag incident at Khanjawala on New Year's night, on Wednesday said the deceased's friend Nidhi is making conspiracy by claiming the victim was drunk on the day of the incident.
Delhi Police on Wednesday formed a team to trace the passenger who had allegedly urinated on an elderly co-passenger onboard an Air India flight from New York to Delhi in November last year, said officials.

A First Information Report (FIR) is being filed by the Delhi Police on Wednesday in the case where a man in an inebriated state onboard an Air India US flight and allegedly urinated on a woman co-passenger, a senior citizen, seated in a business class seat.
The female passenger who suffered the latest incident of urination by an inebriated male passenger on an Air India US flight, called the flight experience extremely traumatic and expressed deep disappointment over the incident that occurred during the business class trip.
"It is the fault of the girl who was driving in an inebriated state. I insisted to her so much that don't drive, I am conscious, let me drive. She didn't believe me and believed herself," Nidhi added.
"1850 traffic police personnel will do joint checking with local police, 125 points have been identified for a drunken drive, apart from this mobile teams will also be deployed, will take action against the drunken drive and under age driving," said Yadav.
