Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has apprehended a drug smuggler and recovered 3.5 kg heroin along with Rs 2 lakhs drug money from his possession, said Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav here on Sunday.
According to officials, the latest raids resulted in the recovery of 954 grams of heroin, 81 kilograms of poppy husk, 497 intoxicant tablets/capsules, and Rs 5,770 in cash from the accused.
