Junior doctors protesting against the recent rape and murder incident at RG Kar Medical College & Hospital on Friday have given the state government a 24-hour ultimatum to meet their demands, failing which they will go on an indefinite hunger strike.
Following the protests, police deployment at the hospital has been increased, and additional CCTV cameras have been installed to enhance security measures.
