The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), in collaboration with the National Health Authority (NHA) and WHO India, has released 32 new Standard Treatment Workflows (STWs) for common and serious diseases.
In an advisory issued recently, the Embassy highlighted that individuals requiring medical care for critical conditions such as life-threatening diseases, congenital illnesses, organ transplants, oncology, and pediatric ailments should contact the Consular Wing of the Embassy.

"Since April 1 this year, 44 cases have got admitted. 25 cases are being treated. We have lost 10 cases and yesterday we lost 4 cases. rest of the cases are doing well and I believe that very soon we will be able to discharge those cases. Last year, we had 54 cases," Dr Abhijit Sarma said.
