Amid the flood situation in the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday interacted with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel who are deployed in the flood-affected area of Khatima.
The Chief Minister has directed both the District Magistrates to deploy the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams in the affected areas and carry out relief work expeditiously.
30 people were rescued from Jagpura and were sent to a shelter in Banbasa. Other rescue operations took place in Ward 9, Tanakpur and another area in Jagpura
