A third body was retrieved and handed over to civil police after a three-storey building collapsed in Navi Mumbai's Shahbaz village in CBD Belapur on Saturday morning, National Disaster Response Force sources said.
The disaster control room was notified at around 3 am today that the two were buried under the debris of a building at around 1:30 am due to a landslide.
The National Disaster Response Force, teams present on the spot carried out the rescue operations on a war footing and recovered all three bodies of the deceased.
Kashmir Singh Thakur, Reasi State Disaster Response Force said, "Three dead bodies have been recovered and they have been shifted to the hospital. One child was injured and he had also been shifted."
