India has extended the restrictions on the export of sugar beyond October 31, 2023, and until further orders, according to a notification by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued a notification, restricting the import of laptops, tablets, all-in-one personal computers, and ultra-small form factor computers and servers (IT devices). Their imports would now be allowed against a valid licence.
