BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar criticised party leader Dilip Ghosh for meeting Mamata Banerjee, saying it hurt public sentiment amid alleged atrocities in West Bengal. He said Ghosh should have instead raised concerns or limited his visit to religious purposes.
"Although the attack has not occurred, Pakistan is already half empty. The Army chief there sent his children and wife abroad. Pakistan's Foreign Minister has fled with his family," Ghosh told reporters here.
After Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee inaugurated Jagannath Temple in Digha town of Purba Medinipur district in West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh and his wife met Banerjee at the temple premises.
