Solanki took the membership of the Congress party in the presence of veteran Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh at a program in Barwani district.
Taking to Twitter, MP Singh said, "Thank you German Foreign Affairs Ministry and Richard Walker for taking note of how the Democracy is being compromised in India through the persecution of Rahul Gandhi."
The opposition parties held a meeting at NCP chief Sharad Pawar's residence in the national capital in which the parties decided to seek answers from the Election Commission of India regarding the efficacy of Remote Electronic Voting Machines in the elections.
Chouhan said, "Rahul Gandhi is not mature, his mental age is like that of children. He is immature. But the Congressmen are determined to forcefully make this immature leader a national leader."

With the Madhya Pradesh government presenting the state budget on Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president VD Sharma termed it as a pro-farmer budget and accused the previous Congress governments of making farmers defaulters.
CM Chouhan on Tuesday said, "I think Digvijay Singh's intelligence has failed. He insults the Indian Army, he speaks the language of Pakistan and tries to lower the morale of the Army."
"Today, I have taken bail in the defamation case. I am facing defamation cases in four states and I am answering to all of them," Digvijaya Singh said.
