Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday ordered officials to provide compensation to the family of the boy who died after allegedly consuming contaminated water in Raichur, according to the State government release.
"An ex-gratia of Rs 2.5 lakhs will be given to the next of kin of those who died in the firecracker factory blast in Egra and a home guard job will be given to one of the family members," she said while addressing a people East Medinipur.
With this three cubs of female cheetah named Jwala died at Kuno National Park which is located in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district. Now only one cub is left. Jwala had given birth to four cubs on March 24 this year.
Another man has sustained injuries but his condition remains unknown, as he is very close to the building, where the suspect was spotted, and has yet to be rescued.
As per the officials, the cubs which were born to a Namibian cheetah on March 24, died from apparent dehydration and weakness within the fenced area housing the mother and cubs.
