The 'Yoga Mahotsav', celebrated to commemorate 75 days to the International Day of Yoga, was a huge success as thousands joined at the gala event as they practised Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) at the Dibrugarh University ground in Assam's Dibrugarh on Friday.
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday said that the Ministry of Ayush will organise the 'Yoga Mahotsav' on April 7 to commemorate the 75 days to International Day of Yoga at Assam's Dibrugarh University campus.

According to sources, Harjeet Singh, uncle to Amritpal Singh was brought from Punjab to the military airport in Jorhat, from where he was brought to the Dibrugarh Jail under security by road.
"We have a very strong suspicion of an ISI angle, based on the facts and circumstances that have come to light so far. We also have a very strong suspicion of foreign funding. Going by the circumstances, it seems that ISI is involved and there is foreign funding as well," Punjab IGP said
However, as a massive search operation continued on the second day on Sunday to nab the 'Waris Punjab De' chief and pro-Khalistan activist Amritpal Singh, four 'suspects' were brought to Dibrugarh on Sunday amid tight security.
