Satnam Singh Sandhu, Indian Minorities Foundation (IMF) convenor, on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "transformed the way the world sees India", calling for the need to ensure that the "voice and opinion of Indian diaspora from Silicon Valley reach him".

PM Modi is all set for his first state visit to the US next week. From June 20-24, PM Modi will address the Joint Sitting of the US Congress and will also meet a number of American politicians, prominent citizens as well as noted personalities from the diaspora.
US Representative Richard McCormick emphasised that lawmakers whether they are Democrats or Republicans need to pay more attention to India as a "future partner going forward".
