Speaking to ANI, AIIMS Rishikesh Director Meenu Singh said, "This incident is heartbreaking. Many people have been affected by it. We have made beds and other arrangements for all the patients who will come to AIIMS. Our nursing staff, doctors have been informed to take care of the patients.
"Our foremost priority is to ensure that every tourist returns home safely and their families are assured of their well-being," said Pawar. He appealed to the families of the stranded to avoid panicking.
