Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a tough stand against those running illegal madrasas in the name of religion. Within 15 days, more than 52 illegally run madrasas were sealed.

During a meeting at the Secretariat on Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to run the Fit Uttarakhand campaign widely in the state.
The Uttarakhand CM asserted further that since he assumed office, his constant effort has been to address the people's problems and ensure that government schemes reach them.
"Following her visit to Jharkhand, Minister Rana will attend the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, scheduled for March 17 to 19," the Foreign Ministry mentioned in the release.
Speaking to the media, CM Dhami highlighted the significance of the Char Dham Yatra as a crucial pillar for the state's economy, supporting local businesses such as hotels, taxis, and homestays.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Ganga Aarti and worshiped at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh on Sunday. He prayed to Maa Ganga for happiness, peace and prosperity in the state.

Addressing the event, CM Dhami said, "This honour is not just mine but belongs to the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The 1.25 crore people of the state affirmed the resolution we presented during the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
