Telangana State Police is going through a major change after the state government transferred six senior IPS officers and gave them new postings on Thursday.
As the people are gearing up for the celebration of the New Year with enthusiasm, the Uttarakhand Director General of Police Ashok Kumar held a review meeting with other state officials regarding the traffic arrangements.
"The crime decreased in Murder for gain by 52 per cent, Dacoity by 35 per cent, Murders by 12.5 per cent, Culpable Homicide by 47 per cent, Rape by 17 per cent, Rioting by 11 per cent, NDPS0 5 per cent, Crime against SC/ST by 1.28 per cent, POCSO0 5 per cent," read the report.
