Months after the pee-gate incident in an Air India flight mid-way air came to the fore, the airline has amended its existing in-flight liquor service policy for a better travel experience.
In a statement DGCA said that action was taken on the incident of passenger misbehaviour which occurred on AI-142 flight dated December 6, 2022 from Paris to New Delhi, came to the notice of DGCA wherein one passenger was caught smoking in the lavatory, was drunk and not adhering to the crew

Scoot Airlines reported that the passengers who were left behind after a Singapore-bound flight took off hours ahead of schedule will be provided with options including free rebooking, vouchers and refunds.

The passenger load factors of all major airlines - Air India, SpiceJet, GoFirst, IndiGo, Akasa Air, AirAsia India and Vistara witnessed an upward trend in December 2022 compared to November 2022, as per the DGCA data.
"Airlines have updated their all passengers about the change in time through E-mail. Some of around 30 were not updated by their travel agent about the change in time," an Airport official said
