Resolution Professionals (RP) submitted a detailed plan about Go First revival plans before the Directorate of General Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday.
Crisis-hit Go First airline's resolution professional Shailesh Ajmera is set to meet civil aviation regulator DGCA and discuss the revival plan of the now-grounded airline. The meeting was scheduled for today afternoon.
A Bengaluru Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) air safety official on Sunday visited the incident site near Pethsirur in Kalaburagi where a training aircraft of Redbird Flight Training Academy made an emergency landing.

The project was initiated a few years ago at IIT Kanpur and is led by Professor Manindra Agarwal of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The experiment was conducted with due approval from DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation).
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation suspended the pilot license of Pilot In Command (PIC) and First Officer of Air India for a period of one year and one month respectively for allowing an unauthorized person into the cockpit during a flight on Thursday.
"On 20.06.2023 Alliance Air AT72-600 Aircraft VT-AIY operating flight 9I-882(Mysore-Hyderabad) was involved in the air turn back as the fuel panel was observed to be open by the AME during departure from Mysore," the official statement said.
The new routes are part of the airline operators' expansion plans. Air traffic, both domestic and international, has seen a rise after the pandemic, partly due to pent-up demand.
"We regret to inform that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled till 19th June 2023 have been cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the flight cancellations," Go First said in a tweet.
Passengers carried by Indian domestic airlines during January-May 2023 were 636.07 lakhs, as against 467.37 lakhs during the corresponding period of 2022, Directorate General of Civil Aviation data showed Thursday.
Once fully approved for flight operations, Jettwings Airways will be the first ever company from the northeast India region to operate airline operations in the country.
