As a huge crowd of devotees continued to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Acharya Satyendra Das, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Chief Priest said that an appeal was made to have the darshan patiently and devotees are following it.
Braving the fog and cold early in the morning on Thursday, devotees continued to arrive for the darshan of Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya three days after the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.
Ayodhya witnessed a massive gathering of devotees on the second day on Wednesday post the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla. Braving severe cold coupled with fog, people stood in long queues around Rampath and the temple premises since morning.
Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Ayodhya District Magistrate, Nitish Kumar said, "Around 2 lakh devotees arrived for Lord Ram Lalla darshan on the second day. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also arrived at ground zero. There was proper management."
Amid the rush of devotees and long queues in Ayodhya for a sighting (darshan) of Ram Lalla, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Union Cabinet during which he advised his top ministers to defer their visit to the grand temple.
The team will organise Bhandara (religious feast) for 60 days in Ayodhya Dham on behalf of Chhattisgarh, maternal birthplace of Lord Ram and serve the devotees there.
