Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed the Urban Development Department to review the situation of waterlogging in all 17 municipal corporations and to ensure that development works are carried out more effectively.

In an attempt to give momentum to the developmental works in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government has announced the first instalment of approximately Rs 7.5 billion for the Legislature Area Development Fund, informed a government statement.
