Delhi Police on Friday detained AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) workers protesting against the arrest of AAP MP Sanjay Singh by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi Excise policy case.
The Punjab Vigilance Bureau during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state on Thursday arrested a private person Vijay Kumar for accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000 on behalf of a police sub-inspector Rajwant Singh, posted as incharge Police Post Kanganwal, Ludhiana district.
In a statement, an Islamabad police spokesperson said 1126 people were questioned during the operation. Among them, 503 were allegedly found to be living illegally.
