West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday expressed her grief for the BSF Jawan from Hooghly who was detained by Pakistan Rangers. She said that Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee is in touch with the family members.
The Supreme Court on Friday directed the government authorities to verify the citizenship documents of a Srinagar-based family of six, who are allegedly being detained for their deportation to Pakistan.
