Train operation was disrupted due to the derailment of three wagons of goods train at Tanakuppa station between Koderma-Gaya section of Jharkhand's Dhanbad division on Tuesday early morning.

The incident occurred at about 6.44 am on Monday when a goods train from Dongoaposi (Jharkhand) moving towards Chhatrapur (Odisha) got derailed at Korai Railway Station in Bhadrak-Kapilas Road Railway Section under Khurda Road Railway Division of East Coast Railway blocking both UP and Do
"Family of each deceased will get Rs 5 lakhs, those who sustained grievous injuries will get Rs 1 lakh, and those with nonserious injuries will get Rs 25,000," said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Relief teams and Railway officials were rushed to the site. A rescue operation is underway. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Khurda Road and other Branch officers rushed to the accident spot for relief work. Both rail lines have been blocked, informed officials.
