An INSAT (Indian National Satellite System) imagery released by the Met department on Wednesday morning depicted fog hovering over the North India region.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday that dense to very dense fog (visibility 50-200 meters) likely at some pockets over Uttar Pradesh during December 26 and 27.
Dense fog continues to disrupt normal life in the valley as the minimum temperature was recorded at minus three degrees Celsius in Srinagar on Monday night.
Dense fog is likely to continue over northwest and parts of adjoining central India during the next three to four days, the India Meteorological Department said in a statement on Tuesday.

A layer of dense fog was witnessed over the Delhi-NCR region on Tuesday morning, as the temperature dropped to almost 7 degrees in the national capital, according to the India Meteorological Department.
