The meeting of the newly elected MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be held on June 7 here in the national capital, sources said on Wednesday.
Noting the third consecutive win by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasised that post elections, it has been decided that the NDA government will be formed again for the third consecutive time.
"The Board of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) congratulates the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on a historic third consecutive term in the 2024 Lok Sabha General Elections," the USISPF said in a statement.

This comes after the BJP failed to cross the majority mark on its own. According to the Election Commission of India, BJP is currently ahead on 239 seats. But, the overall tally of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is close to 300.
